Patrick Glennon of Glennon Construction has been in the construction business for 32 years. He began working for a master carpenter while he was in high school and after studying architecture in college decided to open his own home improvement business in 1985. In the beginning he concentrated on home improvements and renovations and in the ‘90s started building new homes. Today Glennon homes are found from the North Shore to the Hamptons, and the company has also completed several large commercial developments.
From traditional styles to cutting edge contemporaries, Glennon homes are known for the outstanding quality of their craftsmanship. Each home is built with meticulous care, using top quality materials, fixtures and finishes. No attention to detail is spared. In addition, Glennon has extensive experience in the permit process, including variance applications, planning board applications, DEC and health department applications.
In more recent years Pat began focusing on building energy efficient homes, and joined the Energy Star program for builders. By becoming an Energy Star builder he has committed his company to focusing on high efficiency construction techniques. Pat also completed the residential photovoltaic installation and maintenance program at Farmingdale College and has numerous systems installed and running, including at his own home.
Patrick Glennon’s business model has always emphasized customer service. Whether renovating or building new, residential construction projects can be stressful for the customer. Pat’s priority is listening to his customers’ needs and responding quickly to their concerns.
