Catherine Woolfson left Manhattan, and a career in acting, in 1997 to become a fulltime resident of the Hamptons after falling in love with an oceanfront parcel in West Hampton Dunes. She has first hand experience with homebuilding - she personally custom-designed her family's Dune Road home and oversaw the construction. In 2015, Catherine, her husband and son moved to their now bayfront home, also in West Hampton Dunes, which she redesigned and renovated. Catherine has an exclusive business decorating and organizing homes for family, friends and acquaintances, as well as doing home staging.

An active member of the community, Catherine has not only served on the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Village of West Hampton Dunes, but was elected to office and served 8 years as a Trustee of the Village of West Hampton Dunes. Catherine is also a long term elected officer and board member of the Barrier Beach Preservation Association, an environmentally based nonprofit organization. In addition, Catherine serves as a Parent Advocate - Representative for Children with Special Needs for several area school districts.
