A lifelong resident of Long Island, Jennifer was raised in Nassau County, moved to Suffolk County, and eventually relocated to the East End to raise her three children. Jennifer currently spends her time in both the Hamptons and Palm Beach. She is a community activist whose involvements have included serving as Sag Harbor Elementary School PTA President and as a Board Member of the Sag Harbor Village Zoning Board of Appeals for five years.
Jennifer began her real estate career at age sixteen working for a title company. After graduating from Hofstra University with a BA in American Literature and Secondary Education, she was enrolled in law school at the age of twenty and earned her Juris Doctorate from St. John's School of Law. Jennifer joined a prominent law firm plus maintained her own law practice focusing on real estate law. She practiced law for over 17 years in insurance defense litigation, real estate, and as a court referee in foreclosure proceedings. Jennifer has extensive knowledge of title issues, contract negotiations and real estate closing matters. Jennifer is a Notary Public and is admitted to the New York State Bar and the United States Eastern & Southern Districts. In addition, she is a Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager and received the Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource certification. Jennifer is a duly Licensed Real Estate Broker in both New York and Florida, with her own brokerage in Palm Beach Gardens. In 2021, Jennifer was named #4 individual broker in the Hamptons and #139 individual in sales volume in New York by Real Trends America's Best Real Estate Professionals. In addition, in 2022 Real Trends awarded her the top 1.5% of All Agents & Teams Nationwide and #66 individual by sales volume in New York. Jennifer's individual sales volume in 2020 was $35,950,000 and in 2021 it was $76,630,000. Her top sales in 2020 and 2021 included buyer representation of a $20 Million and $66 Million sale in the Hamptons. Jennifer was also honored by Dan's 2022 PowerList of the East End and Power Women of the East End. Her experience in law and real estate adds a wealth of knowledge and experience to Saunders.
