An East Hampton native, Karen grew up in the village and owned a home there until moving to Springs in 2019. Her background in property and construction informs her real estate practice. Her experience in managing co-ops and condos for Dune Resorts, as well as managing Riverhead Building Supply for many years has given Karen excellent customer service and client relations skills along with her construction and management knowledge, which she brings to the MacGarva team at Saunders.
Community is important to Karen, and her roots are deep. She served the East Hampton Ambulance for 8 years as an EMT, and the East Hampton Fire Department for about 10 years as a Firefighter, and member of the Heavy Rescue and confined space teams. She also served on the East Hampton Village Planning Board. A current member and past president of the East Hampton Rotary Club, Karen is an active member of the Ladies' Village Improvement Society (LVIS). Karen is based in Saunders' East Hampton office.
