Julie works as a team with her husband, well known Montauk builder Daniel Stavola and daughter Lindsay, based in Saunders' East Hampton office. A native of Montauk, Julie and her five sisters all grew up there – and all still live there. Julie and Dan have been working together building homes in Montauk for 20 years, with Julie choosing interior finishes, fixtures, lighting and other details. In many cases the Stavolas rent the homes they build before selling them, and Julie handles staging.
Over her years in the business, Julie has developed first-hand knowledge of the homebuilding process as well as an eye for design. An active and engaged member of the community, Julie has been involved with the school as her kids were growing up, and was part of Montauk Youth, Inc., a volunteer group dedicated to organizing affordable recreational and cultural activities for the youth of Montauk. Currently she serves as Vice President of the Montauk Village Association.
Julie's intimate knowledge of Montauk, its history and culture, and her local connections and family relationships are a tremendous asset to her real estate practice.
