Prior to entering Hamptons real estate, Bayard served as a management consultant in many real estate-related advisory roles for JLL, Inc., a global real estate investment and management firm out of his office in New York City. His work with Fortune 500 and 50 corporate real estate executives focused on multi-year business strategy and planning. This experience gave him the tools to solve complex real estate problems and communicate effectively with clients. Bayard began a career in Hamptons real estate in 2016, when he joined Sotheby's East Hampton office.
Data-driven and skilled at data analysis, Bayard finds that his clients appreciate his facility with numbers. He believes there are three parts to the value of a property – land value, improvements made to the property, and an emotional component. He believes that in the Hamptons, lifestyle is an important part of real estate – it's not just about the property. His real estate clients find him to be trustworthy and multifaceted – he can talk with both sellers and buyers. He is approachable, upbeat and personable, but serious about his business.
Bayard and his family love being able to call Sag Harbor Village home and revel in everything the East End offers. Bayard is well versed in the market from Bridgehampton to East Hampton, Amagansett and as far east as Montauk.
