Real Estate Agent
A licensed real estate agent since the late 1990s, Wendy Schmid is known to many in the Hamptons as the owner, along with her husband, of Applewild Farm, an equestrian facility in Bridgehampton. Wendy has been a full time Bridgehampton resident since 1978 and, she says, I know the area like the back of my hand. She and her husband have raised their family here. Wendy attended the Spence School in New York City, The Taft School, and Cornell University. She has a degree in Veterinary Science and is a licensed veterinary technician. Wendy has always loved horses. She and her husband built Applewild Farm from the ground up—it was a cornfield when they bought the property. Wendy understands building in the Hamptons because, as she says, I've been through every step of the process. As they developed Applewild into a very successful hunter-jumper barn, Wendy also practiced real estate all along. She found herself helping clients sell their homes and assisted others in finding their ideal homes. As a result, she understands what people need in a home.

Wendy's combination of local connections in the community, her strong business sense and extensive knowledge of the area make her a valuable ally for her customers and clients. She works with those looking to purchase, sell or rent a home in the Hamptons. And she always returns phone calls!
