Raised in France, Djida lived and traveled throughout Europe. Her work ultimately brought her to New York City, which became her new home. She developed strong ties to the transplanted international community through her work at the United Nations and her involvement at her children's school, the Lycée Francais de New York. She discovered the Hamptons while summering on the East End with her family and was immediately smitten with its beautiful beaches. She became a full-time Southampton resident in 2011 and took a job at the Southampton library, an epicenter of the village, while her children attended the progressive Ross School in East Hampton. She quickly became a trusted resource to both local and summer residents, well beyond the walls of the library. After informally helping New York and European friends find their dream home or perfect summer rental, Djida made the natural transition into her real estate practice. Her deep knowledge of the Hamptons is a true resource to buyers, sellers and renters alike.
Loyalty, trust and honesty are the foundations of Djida's work ethic, enabling her to build lasting relationships with her clientele. Her European background further enables a first-hand understanding of the cultural differences inherent in business and financial matters, especially when serving the international community. Her knowledge gained from living, working and raising a family in the Hamptons provides a wealth of insights and resources that further serve her clients, long after they have found their perfect home.
Throughout her career both in the city and in the Hamptons, Djida has remained a steadfast volunteer for non-profit organizations and charities centered around the wellbeing of children worldwide, as well as serving organizations concerned with climate impact and preservation on the East End.
