Heather Kouffman, LMSW, MBA, MA, has an extensive background in the high-end construction business in the Hamptons. She was the Assistant Vice President of MKL Construction Corporation that was founded by her father, Maurice H. Kouffman over 50 years ago. Her brother, Phillip, currently serves as Vice President and CEO. In addition, her brother, Robert, is a Hamptons-based real estate attorney.

She holds graduate degrees in business from Boston University, in clinical social work from NYU, and in psychology from American University. She is a psychotherapist and the owner and founder of Divorce and Business Mediation of the Hamptons. Heather received her clinical training at NY Presbyterian Hospital and was granted a fellowship in psychoanalysis from the New York University Medical Center.
Outside the office Heather enjoys running, swimming and tennis, and taking her Doberman Pinscher puppy, Cash, for walks on the beach. Born and bred in beautiful East Hampton she knows there is no place like the Hamptons.
