Joan Gruen began her real estate career in 2004, where she worked primarily on the upper east side of Manhattan in Corcoran's Carnegie Hill office. Her work involved new development, townhouses, co-ops and other residential real estate. In addition to working with families, she has experience with international customers seeking investment properties. She is known in the real estate community for her poise and persistence, and the ease in which she works with a large and diverse clientele.
In 2011, Joan and her family moved out to Sag Harbor, making their summer home since the 1970s their full-time residence. Joan traveled to NYC for her business for several years, but having developed a fascination with homes on the East End she has joined Saunders & Associates. Joan has always enjoyed the marketing aspects of real estate, devising creative ways to sell properties and finding the attribute that will captivate the right buyer. One thing that attracted her to Saunders & Associates, she says, is the innovative and compelling marketing created for the properties we represent.
Outside the office, Joan's community involvement includes supporting the American Heart Association, and membership in the East Hampton Ladies' Village Improvement Society. She enjoys walks on Long Beach, playing tennis with close friends, and spending time with her three daughters, husband, and cat, Jamie.
As an accommodation to the disabled, Saunders & Associates provides curbside access at its offices.
