Barbara was raised in Stamford, Connecticut and is a graduate of Ithaca College. Barbara worked in the hotel industry in NYC and in 1981 moved to the Hamptons, where she opened a successful catering business that focused on weddings and movie sets.
In 1990 Barbara began her real estate career as a admin in a prominent office on Main Street in East Hampton, Harold Shepherd Real Estate. After two years she got her sales license and twelve years later was the Vice President and Manager; she worked in that office for seventeen years. Barbara has lived on the East End for 38 years, first in East Hampton and presently in Southampton. She has three children and six grandchildren, and spends much of her free time with her family. In the past ten years she has become a world traveler and it has become her passion.
Barbara has over two decades of brokering from Montauk to Westhampton Beach and attributes her success to hard work, building up a great referral base and personal service. She enjoys what she does because "it makes people happy and there is always something new to learn." In the last 10 years Barbara has teamed up with her daughter Lisa. In May of 2016 they formed The Weinman Team, bringing Sales Associate Tahlia Miller on board. In 2018 Kimberley Stengel also joined the team. Together they possess excellent knowledge of the Hamptons Real Estate Market. Expand your view, we've got you covered.
