Jenice enjoyed a distinguished twenty-year career in corporate financial management. For five years she worked for Maxtor, a billion dollar high-tech Silicon Valley firm, as treasury manager with responsibility for $100M in investments, a $70M line of credit and financial modeling and forecasting. Jenice worked for Scholastic, the children's book publisher, primarily in financial modeling for acquisitions and new business opportunities. She also spent ten years in financial positions in the sugar refining industry in New York and Philadelphia, including four years as Corporate Budget Director of Revere Sugar Corporation, a $300M company.
Jenice earned an MBA from New York University and has taught as an adjunct professor in finance and accounting at California state colleges. She has experience in state and federal, personal and small business taxation issues as well.
With a broad network of contacts which extends to Spain, Portugal, California, DC and West Palm Beach, Jenice has access to a valuable database of potential customers. In the charitable arena, Jenice is involved with microlending, with particular interest in a nonprofit which provides small loans to women in Latin America, called Pro Mujer. When she's not working, she enjoys designing and renovating gardens, and treasure hunting for mid-century modern, with her husband, Rick Delano, and two sons, Bill and Ted.
Jenice is fluent in Spanish.
