A native of Jackson Heights, Queens, Ed earned his BS from Fairfield University, and an MBA in marketing from Pace University. He has also done doctoral work in international marketing at Columbia University.

Before joining Saunders in 2010, Ed had a long and varied career in the field of medical technology. Among his employers were fiberoptics pioneer Olympus, surgical laser innovator Coherent, and Pfizer.

Ed has lived part-time on the East End for 25 years, and has been an active investor in local real estate throughout. He is a former US Air Force pilot and remains an enthusiastic flyer.
