David Lineweaver brings a deep and diverse background in finance, and a passion for real estate, to Saunders & Associates.
He has a comprehensive knowledge of the area and has rented and owned "out east" for more than 20 years. He first rented in East Hampton, before trying Sag Harbor and Amagansett, and finally buying in Water Mill 14 years ago.
With his informed interest and passion for real estate, architecture and design, David has participated in numerous rewarding real estate transactions - both professional and personal. His capital raising background, outgoing personality and detail-oriented work ethic, in addition to his track record in sales and proven negotiating skills, provide all the right tools to help buyers, sellers and developers navigate the opportunities to be found in the East End's fertile real estate landscape.
During his 24 years on Wall Street, David raised capital for domestic and international companies, taking many of them public. He was involved in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and sales for a number of Wall Street firms and two of his own companies. Having lived in Argentina, Brazil, Peru and Guatemala, David is a Spanish speaker.
A consummate traveler, David was born and raised in North Carolina and is an avid cook (he co-owns an online barbecue company) and entertainer. A graduate of Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business, he holds a BA in business with a concentration in accounting and finance.
