Alison's family heritage dates back to the early 1600s. She is a descendent of one of the first settlers of East Hampton, William Fithian. Her strong connection to the area and firsthand knowledge gained as a native of East Hampton brings her clients a unique perspective of the Hamptons real estate market and all it has to offer.

Alison initially became involved in local real estate with her husband Tom, also a Saunders agent, who has actively owned, built and managed residential properties in the area for more than 25 years. During this time she was also a certified elementary school teacher and taught kindergarten and first grade for over 20 years. With the skills and insight gained from her prior work experience Alison is committed to delivering outstanding service and guidance to her clients.

Alison grew up in Amagansett and moved to California and England for a while, but has always maintained a residence in Amagansett. Her love of the unique Hamptons communities, the beaches and the farmland vistas constantly pulled her back to the area. She currently lives in Amagansett full-time and is married to the boy she met when they were both students at the Amagansett School. They have two children. She and her family enjoy surfing, skiing and traveling.
