Vince attended California State University at Long Beach on a tennis scholarship, and enjoyed a successful career as a player on the European circuit. Vince won the 30-and-over US Grass Court Championships in Men's Doubles in 2007, ranking number one in the US for that year, and also won the 45-and-over Indoor Hard Court Championship in 2011. Additionally, Vince was a semi-finalist in the 2011 World Championships in Men's Doubles. A former tennis pro at the East Hampton Indoor Tennis Club, Vince continues to play at every opportunity. He believes that the discipline required by the sport sharpens his business and negotiating skills.
